A funding application submitted to the National Lottery Community Fund, under the Awards for All Environment Fund, by Debs McCahon, Woodcraft’s Fundraising & Partnerships Manager, has been awarded in full.
The £19,800 grant will be used to provide two compost toilets, portable solar panels and battery, a storage shed, a gas safety cage, water safety/access work and costs towards camps (bushcraft through the seasons).
Jon Sellers, chair of the Scarletts committee, commented, “Great news Scarletts supporters, we got the funding from the Lottery. Big thanks to Debs and all who put the bid together.”. Dick Tyte, Scarletts committee secretary, added, “Thanks very much Debs for your efforts in obtaining this, it’s just the boost we needed right now.”.
