Scarletts campsite represents an opportunity for the Woodcraft Folk to extend the scope of its current sites and activity centres, creating an opportunity for general camping, bushcraft activities and participation in a nature restoration project that encourages attendees to return regularly to witness progress.
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near East Grinstead in East Sussex, it consists of a field of 4.5 acres surrounded by woods, away from busy roads and sits above Scarletts Lake and the picturesque valley below.

Why Use Scarletts campsite?
The site will offer low-cost camping for Woodcraft Districts. There is no minimum group size. Sole occupancy of the site is possible for your group.
This is a ‘wild camping’ style site with a water tap, kitchen area with fireplace and cesspit, also a ceremonial fireplace with amphitheatre-style seating.

There are beautiful walks directly from the campsite. The Vanguard Way and Greensand way National Walking Trails pass a few miles away. Wildlife can be observed all around.
